Universal 3 m Brake Cable

The universal inner brake cable with a length of 300 cm is designed to replace worn, torn or damaged cables on mechanical braking systems of electric scooters, bicycles and similar light vehicles. With a length of 3 meters, it allows routing even over longer distances through the handlebars or frame and precise trimming to the desired size.

Important Before Purchase (Compatibility Check)

Since this is a universal inner brake cable without an included outer housing or end caps, please check the following before ordering:

• the shape and dimension of the existing end in your brake lever (barrel-shaped / cylindrical fitting),
• the required total length of the brake system routing,
• the inner diameter of the existing housing for smooth sliding of the cable.

Installation Instructions

1. Remove the old, damaged brake cable from the brake lever and outer housing.
2. Check the condition of the inside of the housing and ensure the passage is clear.
3. Insert the barrel-shaped end into the seat of the brake lever and route the free end through the housing to the brake caliper.
4. Tighten the cable appropriately, fix it with a screw on the brake caliper, and cut off the excess length with appropriate pliers for steel cables.
5. Before riding, always check and adjust the appropriate brake lever travel and perform a static braking test.
