The ENGWE Y700 is the ultimate tool for hybrid riders – those who need a reliable and comfortable commute during the week but love to hit gravel or light terrain on weekends. It's designed for riders between 160 and 200 cm tall and in the 16 to 60 age group.

Its high-strength aluminum alloy frame can withstand a maximum load of 120 kg. If you're looking for a scooter that combines raw power, long range, and advanced technological solutions (like contactless unlocking), while remaining foldable and practical for transport, the Y700 is your best choice.

Motor icon 1,200 W Peak Power and Impressive Torque

Hidden in the rear wheel is a powerful brushless DC hub motor, boasting 500 W of nominal power and an exceptional 1,200 W of peak power. With 28 N.m of torque, you'll effortlessly conquer inclines of up to 20°. To ensure a safe and legal ride, the speed is limited to up to 25 km/h (limited).

For complete control over riding dynamics, the scooter offers four modes (PAS levels): Walk Assist (6 km/h) for safely walking alongside the scooter, Eco (10 km/h) for maximum range, Drive (15 km/h) for cruising, and Sport (up to 25 km/h) for full power. The system also includes a Kick-to-Start function (adjustable from 0 to 5 km/h), which prevents unintended and jerky starts from a standstill.

Battery icon A Battery That Won't Let You Down

Beneath the massive footboard lies the heart of the system: a powerful Lithium-ion (Li-ion) battery with a voltage of 48 V and an impressive capacity of 18.2 Ah. This enormous energy reserve allows for a maximum range of up to 85 km on a single charge (measured under ideal conditions: 1st gear, 75 kg load, 25 °C, and 70% humidity).

Charging is done via the included 54.6 V / 2 A charger, and a cycle from empty to full battery takes approximately 9 to 10 hours. The smart BMS system protects the cells from overvoltage, and you should avoid discharging to absolute zero, as this extends battery life.

Bluetooth icon Smart Technology and 3.5-inch Display

Physical keys are a thing of the past. The ENGWE Y700 brings a true technological revolution with contactless unlocking (NFC), an app via Bluetooth connection, or by entering a PIN code directly on the keypad. The centrally located 3.5-inch high-brightness LCD display provides a crystal-clear overview of speed, distance traveled (Trip/ODO), and battery status.

The display allows for in-depth settings (P-Settings): from brightness (P1), unit selection (P2), automatic shutdown time (P3), to password protection (P5). A smart Cruise Control is also available, which automatically activates if you hold the throttle in the same position for 3 seconds – ideal for preventing wrist fatigue on long stretches.

Suspension icon Solid Tires and Robust Suspension

No more worries about flat tires! The scooter is equipped with massive 10 × 3.0" Solid Rubber Urban Tyres, which are puncture-resistant, yet wide and profiled enough for excellent grip on various surfaces.

To compensate for the hardness of solid tires, the Y700 is equipped with a premium hydraulic spring suspension system front and rear. This effectively absorbs shocks when riding over bumps, potholes, or gravel paths. For optimal operation of moving parts, the manufacturer recommends using #3 calcium grease on the bearings every six months and #30 motor oil on the kickstand every two months.

Brakes icon Braking, Safety, and Certifications

For safe stopping at high speeds, mechanical disc brakes are provided front and rear, equipped with large 140 mm ventilated discs for rapid heat dissipation and linear braking power.

In terms of visibility, the Y700 makes no compromises. It boasts a dual front LED light with 40 lux power, an integrated rear brake light, and side reflectors. The entire system complies with strict UNECE and K-Mark regulations. For protection against weather conditions, the scooter has an IPX5 waterproof rating, meaning light rain and wet roads won't stop it (however, we advise against riding in deep puddles and downpours).
