It is designed to suit a wide range of riders; the recommended user height is between 155 cm and 185 cm, and its load capacity is an impressive 120 kg (264 lbs). With a limited speed of up to 25 km/h, it is perfectly legal and safe for city riding.

Riding over potholes and curbs has never been smoother. The Y400 boasts an advanced C-shaped strong dual suspension that drastically reduces vibration transfer to the rider.

Compared to standard suspension, this system offers +30% increased comfort, +20% better stability, and an impressive +30% longer material lifespan. In combination with 10 * 2.75-inch fat tires, the scooter confidently absorbs all impacts on uneven roads.

The heart of the scooter is a powerful lithium-ion battery with a capacity of 48V and 10.4 Ah, totaling 499 Wh of stored energy. This ensures an exceptional maximum range of up to 50 km (or about 40 km / 25 miles at average load), which is sufficient for several days of urban riding without intermediate charging.

The integrated smart BMS (Battery Management System) protection system prevents overheating, overcharging, and short circuits, which extends the lifespan of the cells. A full charge of a completely empty battery takes between 6 and 7 hours.

Motor icon Torque that conquers inclines

Although the scooter's top speed is safely limited to 25 km/h, its torque will not let you down. The motor develops 28 Nm of torque, ensuring responsive acceleration and continuous traction even under heavier loads.

Thanks to this power and optimal weight distribution, the ENGWE Y400 can easily overcome slopes and inclines up to 15°, which is crucial for cities with varied terrain.

Safety is paramount with the Y400 scooter. It is equipped with dual disc brakes (front and rear) that provide superior braking power and vehicle control regardless of weather conditions.

As for the weather – you don't have to worry about light rain or puddles. The scooter has certified water resistance of IPX4 and IPX5 (protection against water jets from all directions), so you can confidently navigate wet roads. Additional safety is provided by a complete lighting system, which includes a powerful front LED headlight, a rear reflector, and integrated turn signals.

Despite its robust design and dual suspension, the scooter weighs a manageable 24 kg (52 lbs). Its innovative folding mechanism allows for quick folding in just a few seconds.

When folded, the scooter measures only 132 x 61 x 51 cm, meaning it can easily fit in the trunk of most cars, be taken on public transport, or stored under a desk. When unfolded and ready to ride, the maximum handlebar height reaches 125 cm, with the standing deck 15 cm off the ground for safely overcoming curbs.
