The bike is powered by a reliable brushless motor with 250 W of power, providing 55 Nm of torque. This allows for smooth acceleration and overcoming slopes with an incline of up to 10°. The motor is optimized for efficiency and ensures long-lasting performance, while also complying with European regulations for road use, allowing you to ride through city centers without worry.

A high-performance 48 V 13 Ah lithium-ion battery is integrated into the bike frame. This enables an exceptional range of up to 120 km in pedal-assist mode (PAS) on a single charge. The battery is removable, meaning you can charge it on the bike or simply take it with you and charge it in your apartment or office. Charging time is approximately 6.5 hours.

The Engwe Engine X is designed for maximum comfort. It features a full suspension system (front forks and mid-suspension) that effectively absorbs shocks. Combined with wide 20 x 4.0 inch "Fat" tires, the bike easily "swallows" bumps, ensures stability on sand or snow, and offers a soft grip regardless of the surface.

The 6061 aluminum alloy frame is robust yet allows for easy folding. The bike folds in three simple steps, reducing its dimensions to just 104 x 55 x 84 cm. This allows for easy transport in a car trunk or storage in smaller spaces. Despite its foldability, the bike can handle a load of up to 150 kg.
