How does the C6 differ from the C7 model?

Although the two models share the same "DNA", there are key differences between them that affect the final price and riding experience:

• Drivetrain (Gearing system): While the C7 model uses the XT series, the C6 model is equipped with the new Shimano CUES series. This was developed specifically for e-bikes with a focus on durability and a long lifespan for the chain and sprockets, meaning less maintenance for the average user.
• Intended use: The C7 is intended for those seeking every saved gram of weight and the fastest possible shifting, while the C6 is for cyclists who value robustness, reliability, and the best possible value for money and power.
• Same motor power: It is important to emphasize that the C6 does not compromise on the drive system – the motor remains the premium Bafang M510 with 110 Nm of torque.

Flexible Battery and Fast Charging

The ECONO Gams C6 uses the integrated Comtron ELK smart battery system. Three configurations are available to determine your range:

• 520 Wh (15 Ah): For shorter tours and daily errands (comes with a 2A charger).
• 700 Wh (20 Ah): For long all-day trips (comes with a 4A fast charger).
• 800 Wh (23 Ah): For extreme distances and the most challenging terrains (comes with a 4A fast charger).

The 4A fast charger for higher capacities ensures that your bike is ready for a new adventure in half the time compared to standard chargers.

Premium Control with Air Suspension

Off-road comfort is provided by the SR Suntour XCM32 AIR-BOOST air fork with 100 mm of travel. The air chamber allows you to precisely adjust the suspension stiffness to your weight, which is crucial for riding safely over roots and rocks. Safe stopping is ensured by Shimano hydraulic disc brakes, which perform reliably in all weather conditions, even when the terrain is wet or muddy.

29-Inch Wheels for Maximum Stability

The Gams MTB C6 model is equipped with large 29-inch wheels on robust ROVER XL rims. The larger wheel diameter makes it easier to overcome obstacles and provides greater directional stability at higher speeds. Schwalbe Johnny Watts tires offer an excellent compromise between grip on forest soil and quiet rolling on paved surfaces.
