Replacement 54.6 V 2 A charger with 5.5 × 2.1 mm DC connector

This replacement 54.6 V / 2 A charger uses a 5.5 × 2.1 mm DC connector. It is intended for the specified vehicle version.

This charger for a suitable 48 V lithium-ion battery system has a 54.6 V / 2 A output. Its black ventilated housing and round DC connector are intended for stationary charging.

Before use, check both connector diameters, polarity and the battery's permitted charging current. Do not cover the cooling vents or enclose the operating charger in a bag.

Using and inspecting the charger

  • Before connecting, check that the socket is dry and the cable is undamaged. Do not force the plug; follow the connection sequence in the vehicle manual.
  • Keep the charger on a dry, ventilated surface during charging and do not cover it. Disconnect it as instructed once charging is complete.
  • If the battery does not accept a charge, also inspect the socket and wiring. Replacing the charger will not repair a faulty battery; stop using a damaged unit.
