The City Box features an exceptionally strong construction made of stainless steel and aluminum, which prevents forced entry. The modular design allows for row installations tailored to the available space. A green roof version (planting) is even possible, allowing for aesthetic integration into green areas and parks. With the increasing number of electric bikes, the option to charge has become a necessity. The City Box is equipped with a socket (230V, 10A), allowing for safe charging of the bike's battery while it is locked. This is especially important for cyclists commuting longer distances to work or public transport.

What are the site preparation requirements before the cabinets are installed?

Safe, stable installation of Scooter Box or City Box units requires a firm, level base, ideally a concrete slab or asphalt. The units are free-standing, but for safety and stability they are bolted to the ground using the supplied M10 anchor bolts. If the site does not yet have a suitable base, our team can advise on the groundwork required.

Is a connection to the electricity grid essential for operation?

An electrical connection is needed if you want to use the e-bike or e-scooter charging function (built-in 230V sockets) and to operate the smart electronic lock. The requirements are standard (230V, 10A). If an electrical supply cannot be provided at the site, contact us about battery-powered locks or solar solutions (where available).

How does access control work? Can we use our existing staff cards?

The primary way to manage the units is through the Kaluu mobile app, which lets users see free spaces, reserve and unlock them. For business users and restricted areas the system also supports integration of RFID readers. That means your employees can use their existing staff time-registration cards to unlock the units, simplifying both use and administration.

Are the cabinets resistant to vandalism and the weather?

Yes. Both units are designed specifically for public and outdoor use. Construction from stainless steel, aluminium and galvanised sheet ensures high resistance to rust. The surface is protected with quality powder coating that resists UV and scratches. Robust doors and concealed hinges make forced entry difficult.

Can the cabinets be adapted to our company's corporate identity?

Of course. We understand that urban equipment is part of a company's or municipality's visual identity. We offer colour customisation to the RAL scale and application of your logo or other graphic elements to the sides of the cabinets (e.g. laser cut-outs or decals). Please tell us about any custom design when you submit your enquiry.

How are the products delivered and who handles installation?

Products are normally delivered disassembled (flat packed) for easier, cheaper transport, unless agreed otherwise. On-site installation is not included in the base price. You can have our specialist team carry out the installation (turnkey), or install the units yourself using the technical instructions supplied.

Where do you deliver?

European Union (EU)

We currently deliver within Slovenia and to all European Union (EU) member states, with the exception of Malta, Cyprus, the Åland Islands, the Greek islands, the Canary Islands, the Balearic Islands, Sicily and Sardinia.

Please note that delivery to the Croatian islands is possible only for items weighing less than 31.5 kg.

International delivery (outside the EU)

We also deliver to selected countries outside the EU, including the United Kingdom, Switzerland, Norway, Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina and others.
