You are buying an upgraded scooter rather than an ordinary factory model. It features more capable NUTT hydraulic brakes, and you can also select brake pads and tyres where offered for your chosen model. EVOLT carries out the conversion and preparation, giving you a configuration suited to your riding.

The scooter comes with a one-year commercial warranty. At the time of purchase, you can buy an additional year for a total of two years of commercial warranty. The extended warranty requires two mandatory service inspections:

• First service after 3 months or 1,000 km, whichever comes first. The first service is free if no additional work is required.
• Second service after 3,000 km or one year from purchase, whichever comes first. The second service is free if no additional work is required.

The commercial warranty covers proven factory defects in materials, workmanship or operation that occur during proper use of the scooter.

It does not cover normal wear or consumables such as tyres, inner tubes, brake pads, brake discs, bearings and other parts that wear with use. It also excludes damage caused by:

• falls, collisions, accidents or overloading;
• water ingress or pressure washing;
• improper use, maintenance or storage;
• unauthorised interventions or modifications;
• use of an unsuitable charger;
• incorrect charging or deep battery discharge;
• continued use after a fault occurs, resulting in further damage.

Each warranty claim is assessed individually. The commercial warranty terms do not limit the consumer's statutory rights concerning goods that do not conform to the contract.

Unauthorised opening, modification or repair of the scooter voids the commercial warranty, particularly where the intervention is connected to the fault. This includes work on:

• the battery;
• the controller;
• the motor;
• wiring and connectors;
• the display and other electronic components.

The battery warranty does not apply to deep discharge or excessively low voltage caused by incorrect charging or storage. The battery must be charged regularly even when the scooter is not used for an extended period.

Storing an empty battery for a long time can cause voltage to fall below the safe limit and permanently damage the cells. Battery damage caused by an unsuitable charger, moisture, impact, extreme temperatures or other improper handling is also excluded.

Yes. Both service inspections are mandatory conditions of the two-year commercial warranty:

• First service after 3 months or 1,000 km, whichever comes first;
• Second service after 3,000 km or one year from purchase, whichever comes first.

If either service is not completed on time, the extended commercial warranty ceases to apply. Both services must be properly recorded, so the customer must keep the service documentation.

Only the prescribed inspection is free. Any additional work, repairs, spare parts and consumables are charged separately.

No. The two-year commercial warranty applies only if it was selected and purchased together with the scooter. The additional warranty year must be listed on the invoice or other purchase documentation.

If the scooter was purchased with only the standard one-year commercial warranty, completing the service inspections does not, by itself, extend it to two years.

The extended two-year commercial warranty cannot be claimed retrospectively after purchase if it was not included at the time.

No. The commercial warranty does not cover normal wear or consumables. Consumable and wear parts include:

• tyres, inner tubes and solid tyres;
• brake pads, brake discs and brake linings;
• bearings, seals and bushings;
• grips, mudguards and stands;
• screws and other parts that wear through use;
• other parts whose lifespan depends on the type and intensity of use.

Worn brakes, worn or punctured tyres and similar wear are not warranty defects. If an actual factory defect is proven in a wear part, the case is assessed individually.

Factory models generally come in one universal configuration. The KuKirin × EVOLT edition primarily upgrades the components that most affect safety, control and the riding experience.

Hydraulic brakes allow more precise, consistent braking, while the selected tyres provide grip suited to the surfaces you ride most often.

Along with the upgraded equipment, you receive local service support and the option of a two-year commercial warranty in total.

NUTT hydraulic brakes require less force at the brake lever and give better control over braking power. Unlike mechanical brakes, they do not use a conventional steel cable that can stretch or require frequent adjustment. This makes them particularly suitable for more powerful, heavier electric scooters, especially at higher speeds, on long descents and during frequent braking.
