ULIP 20x4.5 road tire

Road tread: Closely spaced, low tread blocks.

This black ULIP 20 × 4.5 tire has a wide tread with low blocks and angled grooves. It replaces a tire of the same suitable size.

Features and fitment

  • ULIP 20 × 4.5; wide black road tire with a low block tread.

Approximate dimensions

  • Outer diameter: 59 cm.
  • Inner diameter: 41 cm.
  • Width: 9.7 cm.

The 4.5 width needs sufficient clearance around the fork, frame and mudguard. Switching from a narrower tire is therefore not automatically suitable; check the rim and specified size for the exact bicycle version.

Tire inspection and installation

  • Replace the tire if the tread is worn or there are cracks, bulges or bead damage. Remove foreign objects and inspect the rim before installation.
  • Release the tire pressure, remove the old tire and install the new one without damaging the bead. Follow any arrow indicating the direction of rotation.
  • Set the pressure within the permitted values for the wheel and load. Check even seating and free rotation; check the pressure again before the next ride.
