Tires 10 x 3.0

Tires for Electric Scooters with 10″ Wheels

Choosing a quality, suitable tire is crucial for a safe ride and to get the most out of your e-scooter.

Choose the Right Tire Type

Various tire profiles

Standard

Standard tire profile

The standard tire offers reliable performance on asphalt, city roads, and other hard surfaces. It’s ideal for everyday riding and comes fitted on many popular scooters right out of the box.

Road

Road tire profile

The road tire features a flatter, wider profile than the standard version, improving traction on paved surfaces and hard gravel paths. It delivers a smooth ride for daily commuters and those who spend most of their time on tarmac.

Enduro

Enduro tire profile

The enduro tire is designed for unpaved terrain, providing excellent grip on gravel, dirt, and soil. Its robust tread makes it the go-to choice for riders who enjoy forest trails and off-road adventures.

Hybrid

Hybrid tire profile

The hybrid tire bridges the gap between road and enduro designs. It performs well on paved roads while still handling harder gravel and light off-road trails. Note that on smooth tarmac, it will wear faster than a dedicated road tire, but it lasts longer than a purely enduro model.

Preventing Flat Tires

The most common cause of flat tires is incorrect inner-tube pressure. Most electric scooters require at least 3.5 bar, which should be checked regularly with a pressure gauge—ideally once a week.

Riding with improper pressure can lead to:

  • Damage and punctures to the inner tube
  • Wear on the tire from both inside and outside
  • Poor grip and increased risk of slipping
  • Longer braking distances
  • Poor handling characteristics

Since inner-tube valves on e-scooters can be hard to reach, a valve extender makes inflation much easier.

Service Information

Replace the tire as soon as you notice poor handling, reduced grip, shaking, or visible wear. Under normal use, tires should be changed every 1 000–2 000 km.

Visible Signs of Tire Wear Requiring Replacement

Outer side: Flat tread, burn marks, or holes. Regular riding causes wear; stunts or aggressive braking accelerate it.

Inner side: Wire structure detachment, often caused by riding with improper pressure.

Improper inner-tube or tire installation can cause:

  • Damage to the motor cable
  • Damage to the motor frame
  • Sharp cuts on the rim
  • Damage to both the tire and the new inner tube

When replacing a flat tire, always inspect both the inner tube and the outer tire. A damaged tire will quickly ruin a new inner tube.
