The 2022 STD hydraulic disc brake bleeding kit includes two syringes, clear hoses, a collection bottle, a funnel and metal adapters. It is used to fill the brake system, collect used fluid and remove trapped air. The tools are stored in a clear plastic case.

Compatibility

For hydraulic disc brakes with a matching bleed-port connection. The adapter must suit the brake lever or caliper model and the bleed-port thread. The required brake fluid type must also be considered.

Installation and use

Use the fluid specified by the brake manufacturer. Never mix mineral oil and DOT fluid; keep equipment for the two fluid types separate. Protect the rotor and pads from contamination. After bleeding, check for leaks and correct brake operation.
