The sealing layer cannot repair a damaged sidewall or rim, and pressure checks remain necessary. The 7.5 marking specifies a different bead seat from 6.5-inch tires, even if the outer diameters look similar.

Tire inspection and installation

• Replace the tire if the tread is worn or there are cracks, bulges or bead damage. Remove foreign objects and inspect the rim before installation.
• Release the tire pressure, remove the old tire and install the new one without damaging the bead. Follow any arrow indicating the direction of rotation.
• Set the pressure within the permitted values for the wheel and load. Check even seating and free rotation; check the pressure again before the next ride.
