Reinforced EXCEL 26×4.0 inner tube with straight Schrader valve

This reinforced EXCEL inner tube has an embossed 26×4.0 marking and a straight Schrader valve. It is for a tube-type tire of this size and a rim with a suitable valve opening.

Features and dimensions

  • Marking: EXCEL 26×4.0.
  • Construction: Wide reinforced inner tube for a suitable 26-inch fat-bike tire, size 4.0.
  • Valve: Straight AV / Schrader valve.
  • Approximate valve length: 32 mm, as shown.
  • Approximate tube weight: 604 g.

Fitment

Compare the complete size marking on the old inner tube and tire, and the valve length. The approximately 32 mm valve must project far enough through the rim to connect a pump. This version is not for 20-inch wheels or narrower 26×3.0 tires.

Installation and use

Remove the cause of the puncture and inspect the rim tape before replacement. Slightly inflate the tube, align the valve with the rim opening and position the tube without folds. Avoid pinching it when fitting the tire. Set pressure according to the tire and bicycle instructions.
