Key features and operation

The charger operates according to the standard charging procedure for lithium accumulators. The built-in two-color LED indicator light allows for easy monitoring of the charging status:

• Red light: battery is actively charging.
• Green light: battery is fully charged or the charger is not connected to the battery.

The charger's casing has ventilation slots for heat dissipation during operation and integrated feet on the bottom for stable placement on a flat surface.

Important warnings before purchase and compatibility

Before connecting and purchasing, it is mandatory to check the following four parameters of your device:

1. Nominal battery voltage: This charger is suitable exclusively for 48 V lithium battery packs with a final charging voltage of 54.6 V. Do not use it with batteries of different nominal voltage (e.g., 36 V or 52 V) or different chemical composition (e.g., lead-acid batteries).
2. Connector dimension: The output plug is a round DC coaxial connector with an outer diameter of 5.5 mm and an inner diameter of 2.1 mm (DC5521).
3. Connector polarity: The polarity is positive on the inner contact and negative on the outer sleeve (center-positive: + inside / - outside), as indicated on the charger's label.
